Let's be clear! What is the true definition of a movie cameo? To put it simply, it's a brief appearance by an actor in a particular scene. For the most part, they tend to be people who found fame in other areas such as actors, politicians, b-grade celebrities, comedians as well as WWE wrestlers.

For example, Stan Lee was known for his cameo appearances in every Marvel movie. It became part of the movie-going experience to see if Stan Lee would show up. Other famous people have shown up in feature films. Even the current president of the United States, Donald Trump, has shown up in films like Home Alone 2 and Zoolander.

Even WWE Wrestlers have been in several Hollywood films that the WWE Universe may not even remember. WWE Superstars are performers in their own right and while acting requires a different skillset, some have found success on the big screen such as The Rock and Batista to name a few.

CM Punk recently made his acting debut in 'Girl on the Third Floor' which has garnered him praise from critics for his starring role in the horror film.

Here are 10 WWE Movie cameos WWE fans may have missed.

Some in the WWE Universe may not be fans of the Highlander series or even ever watched Highlander: Endgame. But believe it or not, the first Highlander was in 1986 with 4 subsequent sequels, 2 tv series, an animated film, and an animated series.

Before Marvel and DC, Highlander had built their own little universe and followed the adventures of Connor McCloud, an immortal who cannot die unless you take his head and the quickening. The TV series followed his cousin Duncan McCloud. Highlander: Endgame was meant to be a passing of the torch but it was a box-office disaster.

One of the more delightful things about Highlander was their flashbacks. Edge plays a conman or thief who ends in a fight with Connor and Duncan McCloud. Suffice to say, it was a cameo in its purest definition. Thankfully, Edge has a solid acting career post-wrestling with his appearances on The Flash and Vikings.
