10 WWE Superstars who appeared in Triple H's entrances: Where are they now?
WWE COO Triple H is known for having great WrestleMania entrances. The WWE Hall of Famer's love for NXT is not hidden from fans, as he even wore some gear with the NXT logo during his WrestleMania 35 match against Batista.
Many superstars from the former Black-and-Gold brand have been a part of Hunter's WrestleMania entrances. While some of them have been successful in WWE, others have not been as fortunate.
In this article, let’s take a look at ten superstars who appeared in Triple H’s entrances and find out where they are now.
#10 Alexa Bliss (Triple H’s WrestleMania 30 entrance)
As you can see above, Alexa Bliss’ WWE career has progressed rather nicely since she made her first WrestleMania appearance in 2014. A newcomer to the WWE system at the time, Bliss removed The King of Kings' shoulder pads and cape on the entrance ramp at WrestleMania 30 before his match against Daniel Bryan.
The Goddess has become one of WWE’s most popular female superstars since leaving NXT for the main roster in 2016, as she has won the RAW, SmackDown and Women's Tag Team Championships.
#9 Charlotte Flair (WrestleMania 30 entrance)
Charlotte Flair was yet to win a title in NXT when she made her appearance as part of the WWE COO's entrance. Eight years later, The Queen is a 13-time women’s champion and has already carved out a Hall of Fame-level career.
In 2018, Flair’s WWE career came full circle when three NXT Superstars – Dan Matha, Riddick Moss and Tino Sabbatelli – portrayed Gladiators in her WrestleMania 34 entrance before her match against Asuka.
#8 Sasha Banks (Triple H’s WrestleMania 30 entrance)
From one WWE Horsewoman to the next! Sasha Banks was also part of Triple H's iconic WrestleMania 30 entrance, which has been ranked as the Hall of Famer's best entrance by WWE.
After proving her worth in NXT, The Boss made her move to the main roster alongside Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, in what was termed to be the start of the Women's Revolution.
Since then, Banks has headlined WrestleMania and become a Grand Slam Champion. While she and Naomi were indefinitely suspended by WWE after the two walked out of the company earlier this year over creative differences, the two are still listed on the company's internal roster.
#7 and #6 The Revival (Triple H’s WrestleMania 31 & WrestleMania 32 entrances)
The Revival’s first appearance in a Triple H entrance came when they were still known as The Mechanics and had not yet made a big impression on NXT television.
Despite their at par three-year spell on WWE’s main roster, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder were still widely considered to be one of the best tag teams in the world when they left WWE in April 2020.
Now known as FTR, Dawson and Wilder go by the names Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler in AEW. They are currently triple champions as they hold the IWGP, ROH and AAA Tag Team Championships.
#5 Buddy Murphy (WrestleMania 31 & WrestleMania 32)
An NXT Tag Team Champion when he appeared in Triple H’s WrestleMania 31 entrance, it looked as though Buddy Murphy could follow in the footsteps of Flair and Banks by becoming a regular at WrestleMania in the years to come.
Making his way onto the main roster through the Cruiserweight division, Murphy was part of some memorable storylines on the main roster, which included him being Seth Rollins' disciple and a suspect for the mystery man who attacked Roman Reigns.
He was released in June 2021, and has since then joined All Elite Wrestling, where he wrestles under the name Buddy Mathews as part of the House of Black stable.
#4 Chad Gable (WrestleMania 32 entrance)
Chad Gable competed in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 33, WrestleMania 34 and WrestleMania 35. But his first appearance at the Showcase of Immortals came at WrestleMania 32 when he donned a skull mask in Triple H’s entrance.
The tag team specialist is currently teaming up with Otis, alongside whom he won the RAW Tag Team Championship earlier this year.
#3 Elias (Triple H’s WrestleMania 32 entrance)
Triple H has previously stated that Elias’ gimmick would not have worked in NXT, which is why he did not want to expose the character too much on the black-and-gold brand before his 2017 move to RAW.
Elias proved to be an instant success after his call-up from NXT, but he wasn't able to win any major titles during his main roster run. WWE seems to be trying a gimmick similar to the "three faces of Foley" for him, with Elias playing the older brother to his Ezekiel gimmick. Both men have a younger brother, Elrod, who is yet to be seen on WWE programming.
#2 Oney Lorcan (WrestleMania 32 entrance)
Formerly known as Christopher Girard, Oney Lorcan had only competed in one televised WWE match on NXT before he was selected as part of Triple H’s WrestleMania 32 entrance.
Lorcan was an integral part of the NXT tag team division alongside Danny Burch, before he requested his release, which was granted by WWE in November 2021.
#1 Finn Bálor (WrestleMania 32 entrance)
Finn Bálor is possibly the most surprising entry in this list. While other superstars were yet to make their mark on WWE programming when they featured in Hunter's entrance, Bálor was the reigning NXT Champion when he first appeared at the Showcase of Immortals.
The former Intercontinental Champion made his main roster debut on RAW as part of the returning draft, defeating Triple H's WrestleMania 32 opponent Roman Reigns. He would then become the inaugural Universal Champion before being sidelined by a shoulder injury.
Finn Bálor is currently one of the top heels on RAW, leading the Judgment Day stable, which consists of Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley. If booked correctly, this faction has the potential to turn into one of the most memorable stables in WWE history.
H/T to Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin and Wrestling Inc.’s Raj Giri for revealing the Superstars who appeared in Triple H’s WrestleMania 32 entrance.
