2 Real-life Bloodline members WWE must sign and 2 they should stay away from
The Bloodline is the top stable in WWE. In fact, it could be said that the real-life family represents the two top factions in pro wrestling today. One is the OG Bloodline, while the other is Solo Sikoa's version of the stable.
The O.G. Bloodline consists of Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso. Meanwhile, The Bloodline stable is led by Solo Sikoa and features family member Jacob Fatu, alongside Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.
Jacob Fatu is the most recent signing from the Anoa'i family, at least officially, to join the Sports Entertainment juggernaut. Despite that, there are many other family members still yet to join World Wrestling Entertainment who could one day be used by the company.
This article will take a look at a few real-life Bloodline members whom Triple H and company officials should sign and two they would be better off staying away from. This has to do with age, experience, and beyond.
Below are two real-life Bloodline members WWE must sign and two they should stay away from:
#4. AVOID: Former WWE star Afa Jr., aka Manu
Afa Anoa'i Jr. is a 40-year-old wrestler who routinely wrestles in New England and the eastern region of the United States. Some of his most recent matches were with the likes of Bull James, Nunzio, and Tommy Dreamer.
Interestingly, Afa is no stranger to WWE. He worked for the Sports Entertainment juggernaut from 2006 to 2009, with time both in developmental and on Monday Night RAW. Known as Manu, he had a brief tenure in the Legacy, which was led by Randy Orton.
While Manu never got a fair shake in the company, WWE investing in a 40-year-old star with decades of wear and tear on his body probably isn't the brightest idea. He could be brought in on a per-night deal if a story warrants it, but properly signing Afa Jr. may be a mistake.
#3. SIGN: Lance Anoa'i
Lance Anoa'i is considerably younger at 32. He has been wrestling for around 14 years and has found success in Major League Wrestling and various other indie promotions in the United States.
The real-life Bloodline member has wrestled for WWE on three separate occasions, but each time as an enhancement talent. He lost to The Ascension on SmackDown, The Authors of Pain on NXT, and Shane McMahon on RAW. Those bouts took place between 2014 and 2019.
Lance is arguably better than he's ever been. He was tearing it up in the independent circuit and MLW, especially alongside Jacob Fatu. With The Samoan Werewolf in WWE now, Lance joining the company and perhaps reuniting with Fatu would make for compelling television.
#2. AVOID: Zilla Fatu
Zilla Fatu is the most green and new to pro wrestling out of everybody on this list. The son of Umaga broke into pro wrestling just last year but has quickly made a name for himself both for better and for worse.
For a brief time, Zilla had a very public split with his trainer, Booker T's Reality of Wrestling training school. While they later reconciled, Fatu has since had issues with Game Changer Wrestling, which initially propelled him into the spotlight. Zilla no longer works for the indie wrestling promotion.
While Booker T has made it clear that his goal is to get Zilla to WWE, it might be wise for the company to wait for a while for that to happen. Not only is Zilla still extremely green, but he has burned several bridges within a short period of time.
Perhaps putting him on a WWE ID developmental contract could be a safe bet, but otherwise, Fatu needs time to prove that he can be consistent and reliable before getting a deal.
#1. SIGN: Real-life Bloodline member Thamiko Fatu
Thamiko Fatu is the son of the legendary Rikishi. This makes him a sibling of Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa, all of whom are experiencing a great deal of success in WWE.
Fatu is relatively green, much like Zilla Fatu, but he's also significantly older at 36. While this can be an issue, as in Afa Jr.'s case, for Thamiko, this may still work for him and his WWE journey. He has less wear and tear on his body than most his age and also boasts of the maturity that someone like Zilla potentially lacks.
Thamiko is big and imposing, so he'd have a role in the Stamford-based company regardless of how he's brought in. He could take over NXT or could join Solo Sikoa. Alternatively, Fatu could be recruited by Roman Reigns' Bloodline. Regardless, Thamiko may be someone worth signing sooner rather than later.
