2 reasons why Sasha Banks will win the RAW Women's Championship at Royal Rumble 2019
This Sunday at the Royal Rumble PPV, 'The Baddest Woman on the Planet' Ronda Rousey, will defend her RAW Women's Championship against the Boss and 4-time RAW Women's Champion, Sasha Banks.
Sasha Banks defeated Nia Jax on a RAW episode to earn a shot at Ronda's title, and the Boss has been built like a credible challenger for the title over the past few weeks. On the previous episode of RAW, we saw Ronda Rousey face her first ever defeat since joining WWE when she lost a tag team match against Sasha Banks and Bayley.
WWE seems to be finally listening to the fans' demand, and we all know how much popular Sasha Banks is amongst the WWE Universe. So here are the 2 reasons why she will become a 5-time RAW Women's Champion this Sunday.
#1 WWE will try to stop her from leaving the company by crowning her the RAW Women's Champion
Just 4 days ago, Sasha Banks hinted at quitting the WWE along with the Revival on Twitter. Of late, a plethora of superstars have requested their releases from WWE, owing to poor booking decisions and the rise of All Elite Wrestling.
The latter is one of the key reasons why WWE has secretly started pushing its underused talented superstars. We first saw Finn Balor defy odds on RAW to emerge as the next challenger for the Universal Championship, something that had not happened in the past 2 years.
Also, we saw Zack Ryder make an appearance on RAW this week, again something that had happened rarely since 2018.
Sasha Banks is also a member of the same list, so expect the WWE Creative to crown her as the new RAW Women's Champion in order to retain her services for a longer time.
