2 Things WWE got right and 2 things they didn't on this week's SmackDown Live

This week's SmackDown Live emanated from the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa, and it was a fast-paced show with some developments in storylines leading to Money in the Bank.

We saw Roman Reigns take a beat down from Elias and Shane McMahon which has the same feels of Reigns vs The Authority of the blue brand. Then we saw Lars Sullivan destroy some superstars for no reason which is what we have come to expect every single week.

There was a big development in the WWE Championship picture as Kevin Owens turned on Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. Another big title development was Charlotte earning a shot at Becky Lynch's SmackDown Women's Championship by beating Bayley.

Also, we saw Andrade and Aleister Black on the blue brand which confirms their departure from Raw. Except for some misses, this week's SmackDown Live was much better than Raw, and in this slideshow, we take a look at the 2 things that WWE got right and 2 things they didn't get right.

#4 Got Right - Roman Reigns vs Elias for Money in the Bank

Yes, I think it is refreshing to see Roman Reigns being involved in a mid-card feud after arriving on SmackDown Live and there are two reasons for this, one - He will get supported by the WWE Universe against Elias, two - He shouldn't be dragged into the title picture so soon after switching brands.

This match also means that Reigns wouldn't compete in the Money in the Bank ladder match which means we won't see the Big Dog in the WWE Championship picture for some time to come. Nevertheless, Vince McMahon always has some tricks up his sleeve and he wouldn't want his favorite star empty-handed on the blue brand for long.
