2 WWE Superstars Who Got Fired On TV and 2 Who Actually Got Fired In 2018
Along with entertaining fans with big surprises and high standard wrestling, WWE even fires the superstars with the flow of storyline and also becomes harsh when it comes to releasing the wrestlers when WWE faces heat with that superstar due to backstage reasons.
Superstars who are fired on TV are mostly called back once they fit in the storyline but the released superstars mostly never return to WWE - CM Punk is the best example for it.
With the 2018 calendar year coming to an end, let’s look at two superstars who got fired live on screen and two who actually got fired because of disputes between him and WWE.
#1 Got fired on TV - Rhyno
Rhyno rendered his services to the WWE for more than two decades but surprisingly was fired on TV a few weeks ago by Baron Corbin due to his defeat against his very own tag team partner, Heath Slater.
Under his authority, Baron Corbin made a match between Heath Slater and Rhyno with the condition that the loser would be fired from RAW. Rhyno lost the match and lost his job while Slater secured his place in WWE.
It is not confirmed yet when will Rhyno return to WWE TV. But looking at the current scenario we can assume that it is the end of Rhyno’s stint in WWE.
#1 Actually got fired- Enzo Amore
Enzo Amore debuted in 2016 with his tag team partner Big Cass. Enzo was having a lot of potential and even became two-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion. However, Enzo Amore was released by WWE back in January.
The reason for Enzo’s release was revealed as the criminal allegations charged against him by a female American rapper. And since then, Enzo Amore has continuously been criticizing the WWE whatever way he can. Also, he appeared at Survivor Series 2018 and tried to disturb the atmosphere in the arena but later was kicked out by security guards.
