WWE Crown Jewel 2024 is the next premium live event of the Stamford-based promotion. The company has already announced a massive showdown between Cody Rhodes and Gunther, with the winner becoming the inaugural Crown Jewel Champion. Additionally, The American Nightmare might suffer a significant betrayal from Randy Orton when The Viper turns heel and attacks Rhodes.
As of now, Rhodes is engaged in a feud with Kevin Owens as well, but their rivalry has seemingly been put on hold since Randy Orton intervened and decided to go against what KO is doing. In response, Orton confirmed that he would approach someone in a higher authority, likely the Chief Content Officer. Thus, The Apex Predator could demand a match against KO at the Crown Jewel from Triple H. However, even if this request is rejected, it’s possible that Randy Orton could still be a part of the show by invading the PLE.
Here, he might demand a match against The Prizefighter directly. This invasion angle could be a great way to intensify Orton's involvement in the PLE. As of right now, there are only three matches official for Crown Jewel 2024. So having a match of Orton vs. Owens is still a realistic possibility.
