21-time WWE champion to turn heel after 252 days at SummerSlam 2024? Exploring the latest hint

With Money in the Bank in the books, WWE now turns its attention to SummerSlam 2024. The Biggest Party of the Summer is expected to live up to its nickname as it heads for Cleveland, Ohio. The WWE Universe will certainly have a lot to look forward to and can expect its fair share of shocking moments. One of these moments may see a 21-time WWE champion turn heel after a whopping 252 days.

The 21-time WWE champion in question is none other than The Miz. Having won every championship belt under the sun in WWE, The A-Lister could head into SummerSlam 2024 a bit peeved. After all, he recently lost the World Tag Team Championship, some may even say through no fault of his own. And it is exactly this that could lead to him turning heel after 252 days.

For context, the last time The Miz was a heel was way back in October 2023 when he was still feuding with The Ring General, now King General, Gunther. He may return to his heelish ways once again, simply because he has had enough of R-Truth. Truth's shenanigans have forced The Awesome One into several tight spots, and two weeks ago, it cost them the World Tag Team titles.

This week on RAW as well, Miz looked spent after losing to The Judgment Day once again because Truth did not keep his eye on the ball.

Putting all of this together and assuming there is more to come, The Miz could reach his boiling point at SummerSlam 2024. It's safe to say that the fans shouldn't be surprised if he does turn on Truth. But this is all just speculation, and there really is no telling what the future holds.

WWE already has two huge matches scheduled for SummerSlam 2024

Exactly 25 days from now, the WWE Universe in Cleveland, Ohio, will be swarming into the Cleveland Browns Stadium for SummerSlam 2024. Fans will be counting down the days, and the WWE Creative is already in the process of developing the match card for the event. In fact, as many of you already know, the company has had two huge matches already set on the card for months.

The two matches in question involve the World Heavyweight Champion, Damian Priest, and the WWE Women's Champion, Bayley. That's right, thanks to their wins in the respective King and Queen of the Ring tournaments, Gunther and Nia Jax not only ascended their thrones but also won themselves a title opportunity at SummerSlam 2024.

In addition to these two matches, Triple H and co. will surely have a lot more planned for The Biggest Party of the Summer. The WWE Universe will have to wait patiently to see what exactly is in store. But the excitement is already palpable.
