We continue the countdown of the top 25 WWE Superstars of 2017 in this next part. We have seen the Superstars who made the cut in our first part of this list. But who went further to truly define the WWE in 2017?

#12 Enzo Amore

Key Highlights:

  1. Joined the Cruiserweight division, and created a greater buzz among 205 Live.
  2. Cruiserweights begin featuring in Raw's main events on multiple occasions, upon his arrival in 205 Live.
  3. Won the WWE Cruiserweight Championship twice.
  4. Huge Heel Turn after winning the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.

From the beginning of the year, until April, Enzo Amore along with his then partner, Big Cass were chasing for the Raw Tag-Team titles. However, in June, the team disbanded after Big Cass attacked Enzo, and turned himself heel. Enzo then went on fight Cass in a losing effort at WWE Great Balls of Fire and was attacked by him again at WWE SummerSlam. However, the next night on Raw, Enzo won a Brooklyn Street Fight against Big Cass after the referee stopped the match when Cass suffered an injury.

The next night on WWE 205 Live, Enzo made his debut in the Cruiserweight division, in a move that took his career to the next level. He brought greater attention to 205 Live, and cruiserweights begin to feature in Raw's main event on multiple occasions. At WWE No Mercy, Enzo defeated Neville for the Cruiserweight Championship, with a low blow, thus turning himself heel. This was Enzo's first title win with the WWE.

After losing his title to Kalisto in 15 days, Enzo regained the title at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs. At WWE Survivor Series Kick-off show, Enzo successfully defended the title against Kalisto.
