Super ShowDown was a good show

The anticipation was sky-high for Super ShowDown and we witnessed an action-packed show in Saudi Arabia. Vince McMahon's billion dollar company returned to the Middle East after eight months, as the last show was Crown Jewel.

A total of ten matches were on the card at Super ShowDown. The Usos defeated The Revival in the kick-off show. The Universal Champion Seth Rollins faced Baron Corbin, and the latter lost the bout. However, the Beastslayer prevented Brock Lesnar from cashing in the Money in the Bank contract when the former took down the latter. Kofi Kingston retained the WWE Championship against Dolph Ziggler.

Lars Sullivan won his main roster debut match by disqualification and Braun Strowman overpowered Bobby Lashley. Demon Balor remained unbeaten on the main roster when he pinned Andrade.

Surprisingly, Roman Reigns lost against Shane McMahon as a Claymore Kick from Drew McIntyre helped the latter to pick a win. Mansoor won the fifty-man Battle Royal match in front of his home crowd.

The fans were eagerly waiting for the dream match between Undertaker and Goldberg. The Phenom pinned the former Universal Champion in a gruesome battle.

#3 Randy Orton could be set for a big push after a huge win against Triple H

Randy Orton and Triple H collided at Super ShowDown where the former was victorious. Though the match was announced weeks ago, they did not confront each other until this week. Without a shadow of a doubt, the bout was the best match of the night. Moreover, it was also the longest singles match of the night.

Following a great match against Batista at the Show of Shows, Triple H delivered another awe-inspiring match against Randy Orton. The two men brought the best out of each other as we saw some jaw-dropping moments in the match. Orton kicked out a Pedigree before pinning Triple H with an RKO.

Orton failed to register a victory in last few pay-per-views, and it was certainly a big boost for the thirteen-time WWE Champion. The Viper could gain significant momentum after defeating the King of Kings. Considering Orton has not been in the main event picture for a long time, it will not be surprising if he challenges Kofi Kingston at Summerslam.
