3 biggest things WWE could be planning for SmackDown Live (February 19, 2019)
The WWE Elimination Chamber PPV has now come and gone. There wasn't much hype for the event but the matches still delivered.
Sasha Banks and Bayley won the inaugural RAW Women's tag-team championship inside the Chamber by last eliminating Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville in a very enjoyable match, while The Uso brothers won the SmackDown tag-team championship by defeating The Miz and Shane McMahon in a very surprising outcome.
The main event of the pay-per-view was the WWE Championship match which was won by Daniel Bryan who retained his title by last eliminating Kofi Kingston. Kingston put up the fight of his life, but couldn't overcome the bearded man.
Now the most important question coming out of the show is what the WWE could be planning for this upcoming episode of SmackDown Live?
Here are the three biggest things WWE could be planning for SmackDown Live.
#3 Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair is made for Fastlane
Becky Lynch won the 2019 Women's Royal Rumble match and challenged Ronda Rousey for the Raw women's championship. In the following weeks, Lynch was told to get a medical clearance from the WWE's doctors, but she refused to get any medical attention.
Stephanie McMahon suspended Lynch for disdaining her orders and got a punch on the face for her troubles. On the next episode of SmackDown, Becky Lynch gave the same treatment to Triple H and walked away with a grin on her face.
Next week on Raw, a case was made by the power couple that if Becky Lynch apologizes to them, the match against Rousey still takes place.
Lynch apologized but was interrupted by Vince McMahon. The boss suspended Becky Lynch for 60 days for thinking she's above the World Wrestling Entertainment and named Charlotte Flair as the woman who will challenge Ronda Rousey for the title at WrestleMania.
A livid Lynch then proceeded to beat down Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey at the Elimination Chamber PPV.
No matter how hard the McMahon family tries, they can't stop Becky from taking what's her's in the first place. It will only be fitting to let Becky defend her title shot against Charlotte Flair at Fastlane, and whoever wins goes on to face Ronda Rousey at the Grandest Stage of Them All.
