3 biggest things WWE could be planning on SmackDown Live this week: Kofi Kingston's next opponent, a new feud
RAW Reunion is set to be the biggest reunion in the history of the Red Brand. As a result, the Blue Brand will not be far away and the anticipation will be sky-high from SmackDown Live.
The Blue Brand delivered a decent show last week. Charlotte Flair returned in action as the Queen defeated Liv Morgan. Aleister Black and Cesaro tussled in a rematch with the former picking up a win. The Women's Tag Team Titles were defended last week when the IIconics locked horns with the Kabuki Warriors. Interestingly, Ember Moon became the number one contender for Bayley's SmackDown Live Women's Championship and the two women will face each other at SummerSlam.
The next SmackDown Live is set to take place at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. The WWE Champion Kofi Kingston will issue an open challenge to find his SummerSlam opponent, moreover, Ember Moon and Charlotte Flair will fight in a singles match. After getting two vicious Stunners from Kevin Owens last week, Shane McMahon will address the former Universal Champion this week.
Here we discuss three things WWE could be planning on SmackDown Live this week.
#3 Nakamura could attack Ali
Shinsuke Nakamura had a stupendous night at Extreme Rules where he won the Intercontinental Championship. The Artist defeated Finn Balor to win the title. Though he won the US Title twice, it was his first Intercontinental Title. Since Balor was assaulted by The Fiend on RAW, the former is not likely to renew the rivalry with Nakamura. The company hinted at Nakamura's next opponent last week.
While giving a backstage interview, the Intercontinental Champion was interrupted by Ali. The former Cruiserweight Superstar congratulated Nakamura for his victory at Extreme Rules. Following Money in the Bank, Ali has not been involved in a feud and he is searching for a new opponent.
Being a heel, Nakamura is likely to strike first and it could happen this week. It will not be surprising if the "King of Strong Style" decimates Ali on SmackDown Live.
