3 changes Seth "Freakin" Rollins needs to make to his character

Seth "Freakin" Rollins is one of the top names on the current WWE roster. A reliable wrestler with a ton of charisma, Rollins brings much to the table and is universally beloved by the WWE Universe for his work.

However, 2024 has been rough for The Visionary. The inaugural World Heavyweight Champion suffered an untimely injury in January, and thus, competed sparingly on The Road to WrestleMania. On the show, he lost the World Title to Drew McIntyre.

Rollins took time off to heel from his injuries but returned much sooner than anticipated for a failed World Heavyweight Title pursuit. The Visionary's problems turned from bad to worse when Bronson Reed viciously assaulted and sidelined him.

With negligible momentum, Rollins needs a shift to revive his career. Here, we suggest three changes to Monday Night Rollins' character.

#3. Seth "Freakin" Rollins should wear dark, formal clothing

Since adopting The Visionary persona and turning babyface in 2022, Seth "Freakin" Rollins has captivated audiences with his unique brand of dressing. Whether it's oversized boots or excessively bright tuxedos, the former World Champion always surprises fans with his taste.

Nonetheless, the odd dressing sense has enhanced his nonchalant babyface persona. It worked well for him for a couple of years, but times have changed, and Rollins needs to drop the funky clothes and casual attitude.

Back in his days with The Authority, Rollins used to don black suits that gave him a classy, villainous look. Perhaps, he should consider wearing more formal clothing so that he could be taken more seriously by the locker room. This would also prevent others like Reed from taking advantage.

#2. Rollins may need to change his theme song

Seth "Freakin" Rollins has one of the most captivating and energizing theme songs on the main roster. As "Burn it Down" plays through the arena, the crowd erupts and synchronously sings along to Rollins' hymn, which has contributed exponentially to his popularity.

But, if Rollins were to turn heel, he would have to change his theme song. The WWE Universe vibes to his current hymn, but removing that connection would impair their relationship.

Bringing back The Shield's theme song could be a great way to annoy the fans as it would remind them of one of Rollins' most despicable acts.

#1. The Visionary should begin cutting shoot promos

Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens slowly teased their heel turn by cutting shoot promos and ranting about how they were wronged. Seth "Freakin" Rollins could take a similar route by assigning blame to external circumstances.

The Visionary's success has been recently marred by injuries, which were beyond his control. Rollins also took several bullets for Cody Rhodes so that the latter could finish his story at WrestleMania XL.

CM Punk's involvement has also irritated the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion. Therefore, Rollins has much to complain about, and he could soon begin his tirade, initiating his character transformation.
