The news broke shortly after the post-Rumble episode of Monday Night RAW that Dean Ambrose had reportedly refused to sign a new contract with a WWE. According to the report, Ambrose had turned down a 5-year contract reportedly worth over a million Dollars a year. The reason stated was that Ambrose was unhappy with his position in the company especially with WWE creative.

However, what if all of this is an elaborate work and part of a storyline? Before I move on I must stress that this is just me looking at the possibilities and I'm not claiming that this is definitely a work.

When was the last time WWE publically announced that one of their top stars would not be signing a new contract, that too 3 months before his contract came up.

WWE posted the following message on Instagram to "confirm" that Dean Ambrose chose not to renew his contract with the company:

"Dean Ambrose (Jonathan Good) will not be renewing his contract with WWE when it expires in April. We are grateful and appreciative of all that Dean has given to WWE and our fans. We wish him well and hope that one day Dean will return to WWE”

One more thing fans have pointed out that in the WWE Chronicle episode featuring Dean Ambrose on the WWE Network, Dean Ambrose actually hinted at possibly leaving. During the episode Ambrose said:

“I’m just going to try and relax and enjoy this last trip around the world. I get the feeling that this could very well be the last time.”

What are the chances that Dean Ambrose saying he was leaving was a coincidence?
