After a Survivor Series that saw RAW dominate SmacDown Live and pulling off a clean sweep, the road to the new year and the Royal Rumble has one more obstacle in the form of Table, Ladders and Chairs. The event will take place live on the WWE Network on December 16th live from the SAP Center in San Jose, California, which is the second consecutive Pay Per View that California will have, with Survivor Series taking place in the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Expect a show of brutality as TLC is one of the most punishing matches in WWE history.

  

There are already two matches confirmed for the show as Seth Rollins will defend the Intercontinental Championship against his former Shield-brother Dean Ambrose in an eagerly anticipated matchup, after Ambrose stabbed Rollins and the Shield in the back the night that Roman Reigns vacated the Universal Championship due to illnesses, as well as after winning the RAW Tag Team titles the same night. Also, the finals of the Mixed Match Challenge will take place on this show as the winning team will get the #30 entrance for the Men's and Women's Royal Rumble match in January. It is very possible that someone will be pulling double duty that night as I expect some of the remaining participants left in the MMC will also have matches on the card besides this one.
