3 Exciting things WWE should do this week on RAW and SmackDown Live (29 & 30 April 2019)
The post-WrestleMania storylines began, and things are looking fresh after the Superstar Shake-Up. Both brands had some new faces, and new storylines are gradually building for next pay-per-view, Money in the Bank. The new RAW member AJ Styles stole the show last week when he overcame all the odds to become the number one contender for Seth Rollins' Universal Championship. Bray Wyatt made a shocking return with a new gimmick which is contrasting to his old one.
The all-new Robert Roode pinned Ricochet while the Viking Raiders dismantled Lucha House Party. Moreover, former Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander lost his debut match on RAW. SmackDown Live was not far behind as we saw some surprises. Kevin Owens turned on Kofi Kingston when the former Universal Champion attacked Kingston and Xavier Wood. Lars Sullivan continued his domination, and Roman Reigns suffered consequence after attacking Vince McMahon as he was taken down by Shane McMahon and Elias.
Vince Mahon's billion dollar company will be hoping to keep the impressive momentum this week. Here we discuss three exciting things WWE could be planning next on RAW and SmackDown Live.
#3 SmackDown Live debut of Buddy Murphy
Buddy Murphy, who is a former Cruiserweight Champion, got drafted to SmackDown Live two weeks ago. Although Murphy sent a message after getting picked in the blue brand, he has not appeared in the show yet. Murphy is immensely talented, and the company needs to propel him on the blue brand which is called the Land of Opportunities.
Murphy was a colossal name in 205 Live, and he played a pivotal role to lift the stature of the purple brand. Murphy was a dominating Cruiserweight Champion, and he had several awe-inspiring bouts. He lost the belt at the Showcase of Immortals this month when he faced Tony Nesse.
Considering the dexterity of Murphy in the squared circle, he has the potential to dominate the blue brand if he is booked well. After two weeks of the Superstar Shake-Up, we could expect the much-awaited debut of the former Cruiserweight Champion. Murphy's old foe Ali could be a perfect opponent for his SmackDown Live debut match as the two men offered some stupendous matches in the past.
