3 feuds that Johnny Gargano should have when he moves to the main roster
NXT Takeover: Toronto is in the books and it’s time to deal with the fallout of the show. If you haven’t checked out the show, Sportskeeda has you covered. You can also check out the best and worst portions of the event here.
One of the most highly anticipated fights of the evening was Adam Cole vs. Johnny Gargano in a 2 out of 3 Falls match. The match was a culmination of a feud that will go down in history as one of the best in NXT. The bout itself was a masterpiece as both men are great in-ring technicians and have tons of chemistry.
Gargano failed to regain the NXT Championship, sparking rumors that this might have been his last match as a member of the NXT roster. William Regal fanned the flames of the rumors as he came out and hugged Johnny Gargano at the end of the match, something he normally doesn’t do.
While it hasn’t been confirmed, fans are already speculating on Gargano’s future with most speculating that he will end up on the main roster. In this article, we take a look at 3 feuds Gargano should have on the main roster.

#3 Johnny Gargano vs. Buddy Murphy
The first feud Johnny Gargano should have on the main roster is against Buddy Murphy. The feud will serve to showcase his talents to the wider WWE Universe and make him more of a household name.
If the WWE choose to pursue this feud, there are multiple ways it can play out; however, I’ll only look at the most likely one.
After the beat down that Roman Reigns inflicted on Buddy Murphy on the most recent episode of Smackdown, Buddy should try and get his revenge on Roman. Buddy should align himself with Rowan and Daniel Bryan to attack Roman. In the middle of the attack, Gargano should come down and make the save.
While Roman deals with Daniel Bryan, Gargano can deal with Murphy, giving both guys screen time.
This feud can also set the stage for a future rivalry between Daniel Bryan and Johnny Gargano.
