Authors of Pain which comprises Akam and Rezar have debuted on RAW after WrestleMania. The debuted as heels and they defeated the tag-team of Rhyno and Heath Slater. They brutally annihilating their opponents and that has made them one of the most feared tag teams in the NXT roster.

Now that they have debuted on the main roster, they seem lost and they have no major feud going on. They need a strong push which can help them become the tag team champions.
Since they don't have Paul Ellering by their side anymore, it will be interesting to see how they will perform on the mic. Fans can expect The Authors of Pain to follow a similar path to The Ascension — Konnor, and Viktor — who dominated the NXT tag team landscape with brute force in 2013 and 2014. The trio is entertaining both in and out of the ring. Each superstar in the trio have proven to be very entertaining and together they are ticket-sellers.
However, their popularity seems vulnerable as their merchandise sales have hit an all-time low. According to ewrestlingnews.com, The New Day's merchandise sale have slowed down in the recent months and speculations backstage suggests that their gimmick has run its course.
To redeem this entertaining tag-team, WWE needs to find a perfect feud. Author of Pain and The New Day can start a feud and it will be very interesting to see two extreme forces collide with each other.
