The Royal Rumble match is one of the WWE's best and most prestigious match-ups and has a very interesting format that intrigues fans and superstars alike. The winner of the Royal Rumble match earns a shot at a World Championship (i.e the Universal title and the WWE title for the Men's Rumble match and the Raw Women's Championship and SmackDown Women's Championship for the Women's Royal Rumble match) of their choosing at WrestleMania, 'The Grandest Stage of Them All' in sports entertainment.

Winning the Rumble match is a huge honour for WWE's roster and is a huge achievement for WWE stars. A Rumble win will catapult a WWE star to the stratosphere of WWE as the winner is guaranteed a title shot on WWE's greatest spectacle. Many stars like Brock Lesnar and Batista had their respective careers catapulted to great heights with a Royal Rumble win.

However, not everyone gets to win the Royal Rumble match as it traditionally takes place twice a year ( including the Women's Rumble match), barring a few exceptions. Many legends and future Hall of Famers haven't won the Royal Rumble match in spite of competing in it a handful of times.

Nevertheless, let's look at 3 of the greatest superstars who have never won the Royal Rumble match.

#3 Kane

Kane is a certified and bonafide WWE legend and future WWE Hall of Famer. His name has become synonymous with Royal Rumble match due to the numerous achievement he has accomplished in this match, but in spite of all that he has done in the Rumble match over the past two decades, he still hasn't won the match till date.

The Big Red Machine holds the record for most appearances in a Rumble match and the most total cumulative eliminations in Royal Rumble match. He once held the record for the most eliminations in a single Rumble match for well over a decade, before it was broken by Roman Reigns in 2014.

It's appalling that such a legend hasn't won a Rumble match, especially considering the history he has at the event.
