Will WWE have The Rock show up in the Universal Championship match at Royal Rumble?

The recent episode of Monday Night Raw had a plethora of shocks and surprises up its sleeves. From Nikki Cross debuting on the main roster to the Almighty Bobby Lashley winning the Intercontinental Championship, the recent edition of WWE's A show proved to be quite an entertainer.

However, the most shocking thing which featured the episode was Finn Balor replacing Braun Strowman in his Universal Championship match against Brock Lesnar after the latter lost his shot via getting in a heated argument with Vince McMahon. The Boss of the Balor Club defeated John Cena, Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin in the fatal four-way match to earn a shot at the Universal Championship.

While the WWE Universe is head over heels with Balor finally getting a title shot, there is still a concern that WWE might goof up and The Demon King might become another victim of Brock Lesnar.

However, there are endless possibilities that could pan out in the mouthwatering clash on January 27 and so today we take a look at 3 interesting ways WWE could end Finn Balor versus Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble 2019.

Given Brock Lesnar is expected to carry the Universal Championship up until WrestleMania 35, Balor getting hold of the Universal Title at Rumble seems a bit unlikely.

However, with The Demon King getting the rumoured push in this new era, plus the whole of the WWE Universe behind him, Creative could have Finn put up a great showing on January 27. Vince could have Balor show immense character in his fight only for Lesnar to sneak in with a controversial victory.

This would neither hinder the plans of Lesnar vs Rollins at WrestleMania 35 nor undermine The Boss of the Balor Club.
