3 Mistakes WWE must avoid making at Crown Jewel 2019
WWE Crown Jewel is almost upon us, and looking at the stacked card, it'll undoubtedly be an interesting show. The event will feature some big names, as always, with two renowned athletes set to make their in-ring WWE debut against two of the company's top Superstars. Several championships will be on the line, which means we could see a new champion at the end of the night.
At Crown Jewel, rivals will collide, feuds will be settled while new ones could be ignited. WWE is known for their questionable booking decisions, so in order for the pay-per-view to be an enjoyable and memorable show, here are three mistakes that the company must avoid making at the event.
#3 Seth Rollins defeating The Fiend to retain the Universal Championship
The BeastSlayer Seth Rollins has had a dominant run in WWE so far. He slayed The Beast Brock Lesnar twice, he defeated Braun Strowman clean and he beat up The Fiend Bray Wyatt at Hell in a Cell so bad that the latter was unable to continue. Rollins and The Fiend will clash once again for the Universal Championship, but this time, it'll be in a Falls Count Anywhere match.
Wyatt is currently a SmackDown Superstar, so it doesn't really make sense why he is challenging for RAW's biggest prize. The 'Wild Card Rule' isn't around anymore (so says WWE), so right now we don't know what's going to happen if The Fiend wins the title. WWE made a mistake by putting these two up against each other, because neither of them can afford to lose.
Since we're on this road anyway and the match has already been confirmed, the best thing that could happen is for The Fiend to win the title. If he loses to Seth, his credibility will be ruined and the fans will turn on Seth Rollins.
