3 Most Misused WWE Superstars in 2018

WWE has one of the deepest rosters they've ever had. The Attitude Era saw something similar but they didn't have a roster full of overly talented in-ring workers but just had larger than life characters.

The characters were fleshed out by good booking and what they were good at was showing off. However, considering the amount of talent today it's extremely surprising that WWE doesn't have as many wrestlers over like they used to.

NXT has been pumping out tremendous wrestlers and the constant influx of talent from the Indies has been adding to that quality with so many people who are the ones that were criminally misused or underutilized in 2018

Here are the 3 most misused wrestlers of 2018 in WWE

#3 Shinsuke Nakamura

Former United States Champion - Shinsuke Nakamura

Nakamura won the 2018 men's Royal Rumble match and had a summer program for the WWE title but for the second half of 2018, we saw him become one of the most misused and underutilized stars. Nakamura may have won the US title but he has not done anything worthwhile as champion.

He has been just another person on SmackDown Live who don't have any direction or any constructive character build after his heel turn in April. Even though it was tempting to rank Nakamura higher because of how talented he is. The argument for him being underutilized really can't be made like the other wrestlers.

For someone who everyone was convinced will be the WWE Champion at the start of 2018 it's baffling to see how far he has fallen that people want him to not even be the US Champion. In contrast, Samoa Joe may not be super successful but his use against Styles and Hardy has been perfect, the same can't be said for Nakamura sadly.
