3 Opponents John Cena should put over at WrestleMania 35

One of the most polarizing superstars to ever step foot in the ring
One of the most polarizing superstars to ever step foot in the ring

The lovable superhero that is John Cena has been one of the most polarizing superstars to ever step foot in the ring. He has a huge fanbase which mostly comprises of the younger audience. He is a perfect fit for the PG Era and he constantly remains at the top of merchandise sales. Big Match John can deliver for the WWE when they need him.

But now the time is ticking for Cena as he has started to wrestle on a part-time basis due to his busy schedule. He can no longer be the consistent poster boy for the WWE anymore. The WWE has to look upon new talents to take Cena's place. Roman Reigns was being groomed to be the next Cena but is unfortunately out due to an ongoing battle with leukemia. With their two most trusted superstars out, it is time for someone else to step up.

Here we discuss the 3 potential superstars who could face John Cena and become the next big thing in the WWE.

#3 Lars Sullivan

"The Freak" is set to be the next big monster of WWE

Mauro Ranallo aptly described Lars Sullivan as a "Jack Kirby illustration come to life". Well, he is just that. Standing at 6ft 3in and weighing in at 330lbs, the behemoth from the Rocky Mountains has freakish strength (pun intended), intelligent and quite athletic for a man of his size in the ring and has decent mic work.

You could argue that Strowman is still the "Monster Among Men" but he has lost all his credibility due to his string of losses vs Lesnar. He truly cannot be seen as a monster anymore and we need a brand new monster who is absolutely ruthless. Who else to put into place than Sullivan? He is destined for big things in the WWE and what better way to start off than defeating the 16-time World Champion at Wrestlemania?

If this match does happen, expect Sullivan to emerge victorious and viciously demolish Cena and state himself as the next big monster of WWE.
