3 Possible Matches for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35
The WWE Championship scene, lately, has been pretty chaotic. While a little chaos always makes for interesting storylines and segments, but the WWE Championship needs a solid feud for WrestleMania.
AJ Styles challenged Daniel Bryan at the Royal Rumble for the title. Just when it seemed he was about to win his 3rd WWE Championship, Rowan (who is apparently Bryan's intellectual peer) interfered and attacked Styles.
Last week on SmackDown, Triple H announced that Daniel Bryan would be defending his title against 5 other men inside the Elimination Chamber. These men are AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Samoa Joe, Jeff Hardy, and Mustafa Ali.
All of these are great wrestlers and their encounter inside the chamber should be very interesting. But this whole match seems a little too rushed.
On RAW, the world title picture for WrestleMania is already set. Seth Rollins won the Royal Rumble two weeks ago and will challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania. But on the other hand, the WWE Championship match for the grandest stage of them all is still unclear.
We are sure that at least one of the superstars competing in this chamber match (most probably, Daniel Bryan) will definitely be in the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania.
This article speculates 3 possible WWE Championship matches that could happen at WrestleMania 35. Feel free to comment and let us know which match would you be most interested in.
#1 Daniel Bryan vs Rey Mysterio
Last week on SmackDown, when the participants of the Elimination Chamber for the WWE Championship were announced, fans couldn't help but notice one major name missing. Yes, we are talking about the master of the 619, Rey Mysterio.
Ever since his return to WWE last year on SmackDown 1000, Mysterio has been consistently putting on some fabulous matches. His recent matches with Andrade were appreciated by fans and critics worldwide.
Rey Mysterio is one of the greatest in-ring performers in the company's history. Even at the age of 44, he is still in great shape and hasn't lost a bit of agility in the ring.
While his exclusion from the WWE Championship match at Elimination Chamber is surprising, it could very well mean that there are bigger plans for him. WWE could very well be planning a Mysterio vs Bryan match for WrestleMania.
For all his contributions to the world of pro wrestling, Mysterio deserves to have one last run at the top. The match in itself would be great with Mysterio's high flying offense complementing Bryan's technical style.
