3 Possible things Roman Reigns could do at WrestleMania 35

The Big Dog is back!
The Big Dog is back!

In what was a heartwarming opening to Monday Night Raw, Roman Reigns announced that his cancer was in remission. The Big Dog is now cancer free and is set to return to the ring imminently. He looks as good as he did a few months ago, as Universal Champion, but we will find out whether he is still that damn good in the ring. Various happenings later on in the show seemed to have set up an 8-man tag team match for Fastlane, pitting various mid-card guys on Raw with and against each other.

The Shield will likely reunite once again, as the trio will presumably team up with Braun Strowman to face the evil group of Corbin, McIntyre, Lashley, and Elias. A standard tag team match which shows just how dire Raw's mid-card scene is, but once which is spiced up by Roman's return. After Fastlane comes WrestleMania, a show that Reigns has main evented four times in a row. Surely this time though, it must be the women of Raw who will close the Show of Shows. That being said, what will Roman's role be at WrestleMania?

Here are three possible things for Roman Reigns to do at WrestleMania 35.

#3. One-on-one vs Dean Ambrose

These two were always brothers.
These two were always brothers.

Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose always remained brothers since the day they debuted on the WWE main roster as part of the Shield. Their relationship was tight even after Seth Rollins turned his back on them, up until last October when Reigns made his announcement. Ambrose shockingly turned heel that night, in the most perfect way possible. However, his run as a heel failed to click and it has been a severe disappointment.

It even led to him and Rollins having a bad match, something that was unheard of considering their tremendous chemistry. This has prompted Ambrose not to re-sign with WWE, as he is on his way out by WrestleMania.

With his current booking, Ambrose's exit might turn out to be unceremonious. But there is a possibility that WWE books the one rivalry that they haven't booked for all these years. A few months ago, Dave Meltzer said that the apparent plan for Reigns at WrestleMania was a match with Ambrose. WWE could do it at this point, giving one of their workhorses a major final match at the Grandest Stage.

He hasn't wrestled on the main card of 'Mania since 2016, so that would be an added bonus. This was the one rivalry that never happened, but it could still take place if it jumps through all the hoops that might prevent this match from happening, like Roman's readiness for a one-on-one match and willingness to give Ambrose a high profile exit.
