3 potential feuds for Finn Balor as the Intercontinental Champion
The Boss of the Balor Club, Finn Balor, became the Intercontinental Champion after defeating Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush in a 2-on-1 handicap match at Elimination Chamber.
With the creative finally showing trust in him, it was very much expected that Finn would walk out as the new Intercontinental Champion from Elimination Chamber.
Balor made headlines when he replaced Braun Strowman in the Universal Championship match against Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble, however, in spite of giving a stellar performance, he was pushed back into the mid cards on the very next night.
However, with the Demon King finally becoming the new Intercontinental Champion, it would not be wrong to say that the former Universal Champion finally got what he deserved. Also, fans would be hoping that it is just the mere beginning for him and he scales to new heights.
With Finn becoming the new Intercontinental Champion, it might not only make the title relevant again, given he is crazily over among fans, but would also provide WWE with ample mouthwatering feuds and storyline options.
So, keeping WrestleMania 35 in mind, we take a look at 3 potential feuds for Finn Balor as the new Intercontinental Champion.
#3 Finn Balor vs EC3 vs Aleister Black
Well, Aleister black made his WWE main roster debut last night on Raw and he not only went on to defeat Elias Samson but impressed critics and the WWE Universe alike.
While on another note, EC3 made heads turn after defeating Dean Ambrose in no time in his debut match a few weeks ago on Raw. However, WWE goofed up a bit as Ethan succumbed to a loss last week on Raw and is currently not a part of any storyline.
Thus, WWE could bring together the combustible trio of Balor, Black, and EC3 to put together a feud for the ages. It would not only spice things up a bit in the mid cards on the Raw roster but could also be one of those "Match of the year" contenders.
On another note, it would be a great idea if WWE turns EC3 heel in this feud (given the reports of how he was unhappy after his loss last week).
All in all, Balor vs Black vs EC3 for the Intercontinental Championship would certainly be 'best for business'.
