3 potential reasons why WWE booked the Undertaker and Goldberg to appear on separate shows

Two of the biggest stars of the pro wrestling industry, Goldberg and The Undertaker will lock horns for the first time ever at WWE Super Showdown this Friday at the King Abdullah Sports City of Jeddah. This is the first time the former Universal Champion Goldberg is travelling with WWE to Saudi Arabia, while the Dead Man will make his 3rd televised appearance in the Middle East.
This match has received no build-up whatsoever on WWE TV despite the fact that this was the first match the company announced for the show. However, both the legends will appear this week in front of the WWE Universe and try to hype up the WWE Universe for this match-up.

In a surprise turn of events, WWE has advertised the Undertaker and Goldberg to appear on separate shows instead of appearing simultaneously on the same show. Here are the 3 reasons why WWE could have made this decision.
#3 To boost the viewership of both the shows

The major issue for WWE right now is not the rise of AEW, but it is the declining viewership of their two premier shows. RAW and SmackDown are getting record low viewership numbers week in and week out.
Thus, if WWE would have announced Goldberg and the Undertaker to appear on RAW together then the red brand would have gained a lot in terms of viewership but the blue brand would have sunk further.

Hence, WWE played out a smart move by announcing the two legends to appear separately on RAW and SmackDown Live. This will allow both the legends to cut good promos and will also allow them to take a considerable amount of time to address the WWE Universe.
