3 reasons why Jacob Fatu attacked Jey Uso against Solo Sikoa's orders on WWE Raw
Jacob Fatu stunned Jey Uso on RAW when he superkicked the popular star and Samoan Dropped him onto the announce table. The ringside assault allowed Bron Breakker to take advantage and regain the Intercontinental Championship, ending Jey's reign in four weeks.
Nonetheless, Fatu's actions will have major complications in the foreseeable future. The Samaon Werewolf acted against Solo Sikoa's orders. Sikoa came out to support Jey Uso in his match against Breakker, offering to help his elder brother.
However, the situation quickly escalated and resulted in Fatu intervening. The Samoan Werewolf, steadfastly loyal to Sikoa, must have had a legitimate reason to disobey his Tribal Chief, and here, we provide three possible explanations.
#3. Jacob Fatu could've taken offense to Jey Uso's comments on SmackDown
Jey Uso made a special appearance on SmackDown to confront Solo Sikoa. The former Intercontinental Champion urged his younger brother not to divide the family, but he also had some interesting comments about Jacob Fatu and the Tongans.
Uso took issue with Sikoa bringing in Haku's sons and The Samaon Werewolf, indirectly referring to them as outsiders or outcasts. Paul Heyman echoed similar sentiments a few months ago when he advised the self-appointed Tribal Chief not to enlist dangerous members into the family.
The popular RAW star also didn't like the way Fatu stared at him on SmackDown. Therefore, The Samoan Werewolf had reason and motive to disobey Sikoa and cost Jey Uso the IC Title on RAW.
#2. Solo Sikoa suffered a Spear because of Jey Uso
If Jey Uso had calmly listened to Solo Sikoa, the situation would have remained peaceful and the Intercontinental Championship may still have been around his waist.
The former IC Champion was frustrated by The Bloodline's arrival. He quickly took out the Tongans, prompting Sikoa to jump over the barricade and talk to his younger brother. The Tribal Chief assured Jey that he was there to help, but Bron Breakker took him out with a Spear.
Jacob Fatu has been fiercely loyal to Sikoa, and has been repeatedly observed saying "I love you, Solo." Therefore, the Spear to Sikoa would have struck a nerve, leading to painful consequences for Jey Uso, who showed a lack of empathy.
#1. The suicide dive may have angered The Samoan Werewolf
As Solo Sikoa took a massive Spear, Jacob Fatu immediately got into Bron Breakker's face for a chilling showdown. Jey Uso took advantage and landed a massive suicide dive which wiped out both men.
Until then, Fatu had held back out of respect for his Tribal Chief's orders. But, the suicide dive was the final straw. The Samoan Werewolf decided to teach Jey a lesson and brutalized him at ringside, allowing Breakker to regain the IC Championship.
In this scenario, the assault was a response that occurred in the heat of the moment. There seemingly wasn't much thought that went into his decision.
