Becky Lynch had an incredible Royal Rumble in January. After putting on a show-stealing performance against Asuka, Becky replaced Lana in the Royal Rumble match, eventually winning it despite a leg injury.

Lynch is undoubtedly the most over superstar in the WWE roster at present. She has recently been the best part of WWE's TV shows, and will rightly have the spotlight on her, leading to WrestleMania, where she should face Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair in a triple-threat match.

We can all agree that Lynch's rise has been one of the main reasons why women will headline WrestleMania 35. And, Lynch will probably have her crowning moment at the event walking out of the show as the new Women's Champion. However, Becky Lynch shouldn't win this Women's Championship match, and here are 3 reasons why.

Yes, it's always a gamble to have madly 'over' stars lose big matches. As we have seen with Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman, failing to win big matches can quickly kill a superstar's momentum.

However, if there is a star who can lose a match, yet remain as popular and loved as ever, it has to be Becky Lynch. On the contrary, Lynch will come out as a stronger character after the loss.

A case in point was Daniel Bryan's famous battle against the Authority a few years ago. Each setback that Bryan suffered at the hands of the authority, only made him more sympathetic and people's urge to see Bryan kept heightening, until his victory happened.

Moreover, a loss would give Becky a chance to unleash a more dangerous side of her. And, a heroic monster in search of vengeance is always fun to watch. Becky Lynch's character work has been amazing recently, a loss and the story afterwards will add more layers to her character.

Becky Lynch losing her match at Mania will mean that a lot of hatred and backlash thrown in the WWE's way by wrestling fans, but the same fans will also tune-in again to watch Lynch fight the odds and ultimately win the Championship at some other grand stage.

In brief, a loss will open more doors for Becky Lynch than a win ever could. Hence, WWE should save this moment of triumph for later.
