The fans were eagerly waiting for Extreme Rules. Except for the Women's Tag Team Titles, all the belts were defended at Extreme Rules. Some titles changed hands at Wells Fargo Center, including the Universal Title.

The Universal Title was on the line in Mixed Tag Team Match at Extreme Rules. Besides the Universal Title, the RAW Women's Title was also defended in the same match. Rollins lost his cool when Baron Corbin delivered an End of Days to Becky Lynch as the Man was knocked out. The Beastslayer mercilessly attacked Corbin and hit three vicious Stomps to secure a win for his team.

The major surprise came after the match when Brock Lesnar's music hit. Along with Paul Heyman, the Beast entered the ring with the Money in the Bank briefcase. Rollins tried to launch an early attack but he failed this time. Lesnar hit two German Suplexes and an F5 to become the new Universal Champion.

Even after the Show of Shows this year, the ratings haven't been impressive. However, Brock Lesnar could change the scenario after winning the most coveted prize of the Red Brand.
