3 reasons why Dean Ambrose should turn heel at WWE Fastlane 2019

Heel turn incoming?
Heel turn incoming?

The first thing on everyone's lips after seeing the headline would be - why would Ambrose turn heel after the Shield just reunited on Monday Night Raw?

There are some pointers on why a heel turn is plausible at WWE Fastlane.

Dean Ambrose is reportedly leaving WWE after his contract expires in April. Dean has mostly been jobbing these past few months and has no direction going forward whatsoever.

In fact, the main reason for Ambrose wanting to leave the company has been because of his gripe regarding the position of his character. WWE supposedly offered Dean a seven-figure sum to stay but that was duly rejected.

There have murmurings recently that Ambrose might decide to stay after WrestleMania, but with what is known right now, Dean is leaving the company. If that happens to change in the future, WWE can only benefit from a superstar like Dean Ambrose.

Here are 3 reasons why Ambrose should turn heel at Fastlane this Sunday.

#1 No proper feud

The Shield got back together on Monday Night Raw and are going to face the team of Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, and Baron Corbin at Fastlane.

Apart from Seth Rollins, who is scheduled to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship, none of the two have any feuds leading up to WrestleMania for obvious reasons.

Roman Reigns just returned back after months out due to leukemia and was not even guaranteed to feature at the showpiece event. Dean is leaving the company and WWE rightly doesn't want to involve him in a long term feud.

But with the return of Reigns, there is a ready-made feud for the Shield brothers. Ambrose could just be using his brethren to fight the battles at hand, and when the time is ripe, The Lunatic Fringe will strike!
