Monday Night Raw had some unforeseen surprises and remarkable matches this week. Since we are only three weeks away from the Grandest Stage of them All, the next two weeks are expected to be action-packed. Several mind-boggling matches are already confirmed for the Show of Shows.

A new blockbuster bout was confirmed this week as Drew McIntyre challenged the former Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Since the Big Dog was not in the arena this week, he did not answer the challenge of Scottish Psychopath, but he is expected to appear on RAW next week.

The rivalry began after the return of Roman Reigns, but it developed following Fastlane. Previously, Drew McIntyre warned to destroy the Shield as he showed the glimpse of it in last two weeks. The Scottish Psychopath pinned Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in previous two episodes of RAW. As a matter of fact, McIntyre viciously assaulted Roman Reigns last week. The build-up of the match has been interesting, and it has the potential to steal the show at the Showcase of Immortals.

Here we discuss three reasons why Drew McIntyre is facing Roman Reigns in New Jersey:

#3 McIntyre's charisma

Drew McIntyre is one the most charismatic superstars of the New Era which has allowed him to climb the top of the ladder in the red brand. McIntyre is proficient in the squared circle, and he is equally impressive on the mic. Moreover, his deep voice helps him add a new flare in his character.

McIntyre did not have same charisma when he signed for WWE in 2007. McIntyre had a substandard run, and he struggled to make a mark. However, his persona improved significantly after he left WWE as he earned his name in the independent circuit. McIntyre had an imposing run in NXT, and he carried the momentum in the main roster.

The Scottish Psychopath manages to cut imposing promos every week. Earlier, he had a stupendous segment with John Cena when the latter returned in January. He displayed the same efficiency on the mic this week when he interrupted Paul Heyman. With his intimidating heel persona, the rivalry with Roman Reigns is looking exciting, and fans are getting heavily invested in this feud.
