3 reasons why Kevin Owens attacked Shane McMahon on SmackDown Live
This week's SmackDown Live is now in the rear-view mirror. The show had a host of segments that were great because they delivered on all horizons, whether it be entertainment on the mic or performance in the ring. With an explosive start featuring Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens to an end featuring the two, we were all stunned from the moment the blue brand started broadcasting this week.
During the two-hour broadcast, one thing was the talking point, and that was Kevin Owens' involvement in a storyline with Shane McMahon. The Prizefighter and The Prodigal Son were involved in action all through the night, and it may be fair to say that the two are heading to SummerSlam with a match between the ropes.
While that's a sure shot situation, I list down reasons why Kevin Owens attacked Shane O'Mac on this week's episode:
#3 To Hype The Momentum From Last Week
It would be fair to say that last week's promo by Kevin Owens was the best in the history of the blue brand. While some compared it to the pipebomb promo from CM Punk, the impact of last week's promo had everyone in the audience talking.
WWE officials could feel the vibe, and by keeping up with the audience, the team decided to continue the feud from where it ended last week on the blue brand. With such a master of words on the mic, nothing could go wrong for the company and this storyline.
While SummerSlam is a few weeks away, it seems like the company wants to capitalize on this momentum of the Prizefighter and make a match for The Biggest Party Of The Summer that will become the talk of the WWE Universe.
Aren't you invested in the storyline?
