Anyone who knows Kevin Owens ought to know that his finishing move in WWE was the Pop-Up Powerbomb, where he would lift a running opponent and slams him straight on the floor. However, ever since returning from his double knee surgery last week, The Prizefighter has been using one of the most iconic moves in WWE history - The Stone Cold Stunner - to finish off his opponents.

He used The Stunner against Daniel Bryan last week to get the three count, and he repeated the same move this week also. But why would Owens change his signature move all of a sudden? After all, it is the same move he used to pin John Cena clean on his debut match on the main roster (at Elimination Chamber 2015). In this thread, we will take a look at a few reasons why Kevin Owens maybe using the Stone Cold Stunner as his finishing move.

If you have been observing Kevin Owens throughout his journey in WWE, you would know that KO loves to mix up his move pool and tries out new moves regularly. The Prizefighter loves to try other Superstars' signature moves as well - well evident from his 2017 Royal Rumble match against Roman Reigns for the Universal Title. During that match, Owens performed a Stunner on Reigns. He even used a Superman Punch (Roman Reigns' signature move) on the Big Dog.

Rather than sticking to a set of moves, Owens loves to experiment. This one could be one of the biggest reasons why Owens is trying out the Stunner as his new finishing maneuver.
