The Hounds of Justice are back together!
The Hounds of Justice are back together!

Ever since the announcement of Roman Reigns returning to WWE spread out, one constant question that was on everyone's mind is: Will we see the Shield reunite once again?

After Dean's heel turn on Seth Rollins on the night of Roman Reign's announcement of Leukemia, it looked like The Shield is done and we would never see The Hounds together again.

But recently, Dean Ambrose has been showing the signs of going back to his "lunatic" persona which can be a sign that WWE is planning yet another Shield reunion.

This week on RAW, Roman Reigns made it clear that he wanted to reunite the Shield one last time before they all are no more around. After reuniting on RAW this week, the Shield is set to face the team of McIntyre, Corbin, and Lashley this Sunday at Fastlane. In the coming weeks, we'll find out what holds next for one of the biggest factions in WWE's history.

In this article, let's take a look at 3 reasons why Shield's reunion would be a success and 3 why it would fail. Feel free to share your thoughts and comments.

#3 Fail: Defeats the purpose of Dean turning Heel

This was one of the biggest heel-turn in recent memory!

Dean's turn on the night of Roman Reigns Leukemia announcement was one of the biggest heel-turns in recent memory. It was not the heel-turn actually, but the timing of it which was a huge shock for the fans.

If The Shield reunites without Reigns confronting Ambrose for his actions, then it completely defeats the purpose of Dean's heel turn in the first place. Not to forget the harsh words Dean used for Reigns in his promos. All that can't just be forgotten.

#3 Success: One last hurrah before Dean leaves WWE

A perfect send-off for Dean!

According to Roman, the main motive behind him wanting to reunite the Shield was to get back his brothers one last time before they are not all around together. Now, this surely was a nod to the news of Dean Ambrose leaving WWE after WrestleMania 35.

If this news is indeed true then fans would love to see a Shield reunion for the last time. As Roman mentioned, life is too short. If this indeed is the last moments of these 3 together, then a Shield reunion and the last hurrah would be a perfect send-off for Dean.

The Hounds can recreate their magic one last time and make everyone remember why they are known as one of the most dominating factions of all time.
