3 reasons why the New Day must never break up
The New Day is currently in Mumbai, for the ongoing WWE India Tryout. They also held a meet and greet for WWE fans here, shooting a segment for SmackDown Live as well. The energy in the place was infectious, and the general feeling towards the five-time Tag Team Champions was love and appreciation. These are three extremely positive people who fit together in the most perfect way.
It is crazy looking back at how the New Day started, as a trio of preachers that did not get over with the crowd. It took an excellently executed heel turn for them to get over with the WWE Universe. And they did so spectacularly.
For close to four years, New Day has been one of the best acts on WWE programming on a consistent basis. Their evolution over the years has prompted fans to grow their love for them.
Right now, Kofi Kingston is going after the WWE Championship with the full support of Big E and Xavier Woods. There were previously rumors flying around of Big E turning heel and costing Kingston the title at some point.
This is something that should not happen now, or ever. The New Day must remain together for the rest of their careers, without any shadow of a doubt. A New Day break-up would be a disaster.
Here are three reasons why these three guys will stick together for the rest of their careers, and eventually enter the WWE Hall Of Fame together.
#3 The great tag team revival
The New Day is one of the most successful tag teams on the current WWE roster and has even gone on to hold the record for the longest ever tag title reign in history, at 483 days.
Their presence has given the company a big boost in their tag team scene for a very long time. They have reigned atop the SmackDown Live tag division a few times, having countless classics with the likes of the Usos and the Bar.
WWE has started to focus more and more into revitalizing their tag team division on both brands, meaning that they will need all the teams they can get. It would make zero sense to break up one of the greatest tag teams ever during a time when WWE is pushing tag team wrestling.
The New Day, the Usos, the Bar, and the Revival seem like the four teams that WWE will focus on the most, as they aim to put on a better product.
