3 reasons why the Shield's reunion is a bad idea
Roman Reigns is back on WWE, and so is the Shield. Reigns told Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose that he wanted the Shield to reunite for one last run. Although both Ambrose and Rollins hesitated for a while, in the end, they got along together.
The Hounds of Justice made an unsurprising return after the trio of Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley, and Baron Corbin jumped on Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns - forcing Dean Ambrose to help his former brothers in arms.
The Shield will take on the squad of Mcintyre, Lashley, and Corbin at Fastlane - marking Roman Reigns' in-ring return since Reigns vacated his Universal title on RAW following a leukemia diagnosis.
However, even though it may be soothing to see Reigns, Rollins, and Ambrose together for one final run - before Ambrose supposedly departs from WWE, it may be detrimental in the long term, especially since WrestleMania 35 is around the corner. In this thread, we will take a look at a few reasons why the latest Shield reunion was a bad idea.
#3 Lack of continuity
After stabbing Seth Rollins in the back on the same night they won the RAW tag team championship, Dean Ambrose started moving in a different path. He said that Reigns deserved what he got due to his actions in the Shield. The Lunatic Fringe also torched his Shield vest, saying that the Shield only made him weak.
Now Ambrose is back in the three men gang yet again, nullifying all of his promos in the last four months. WWE has been doing reasonably well in the last few months in terms of continuity, but now it is thrown out the window.
