In two days, The eleventh edition of Extreme Rules will take place, streaming live on the WWE Network and on pay-per-view. It will take place inside in the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Philadelphia loves extreme wrestling and was once home to the original ECW.

This year's card is packed with ten matches scheduled for the event. Thus far, no matches have been added to the Kickoff. WWE may add a match or two to the pre-show or could place one of the main card's matches in the pre-show.

The Extreme Rules pay-per-view has provided us with some thrilling moments in the past. Last year, Braun Strowman threw Kevin Owens off the top of the steel cage and onto an announce table. Jeff Hardy's matches with Edge and Matt Hardy in past events were absolutely amazing. Edge getting stuck between the rungs of a ladder was one of the most creative and awkward moments of the event.

Roman Reigns' Extreme Rules match with AJ Styles in 2016 was amazing. The Shield's match with Evolution in 2014 exceeded expectations and was one of the best of the year. Needless to say, Extreme Rules has provided us with awesome matches and quite a few OMG moments.

There are many reasons to be optimistic about Extreme Rules. Hence, fans should be excited for Extreme Rules this year.

Having said that, let's list down three reasons why you should watch Extreme Rules.

At every Extreme Rules pay-per-view, fans are treated to hardcore match-ups that are reminiscent of the original ECW brand that was loved by fans all around the globe. It is very rare that we get to watch so many hardcore matches at a single pay-per-view. This year will be no different as WWE has scheduled a number of matches with hardcore stipulations.

Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley will fight in a Last Man Standing match that is expected to be a brutal affair. Both Strowman and Lashley will be in their element, hence it is going to be a great match.

The Winners Take All Mixed tag-team match is going to be an Extreme Rules contest. We will witness Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch Vs Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans in an Extreme Rules match and this will make it a tremendous match-up. The Undertaker and Roman Reigns will take on the dastardly duo of Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon in a No Holds Barred Match.

WWE may add hardcore stipulations to any of the announced matches at the last minute. Hence, Extreme Rules will be a night filled with extreme moments and fun spots.
