3 reasons why WWE booked Roman Reigns and The Usos vs The Bloodline at Crown Jewel

WWE made it official today, Roman Reigns and The Usos will take on The Bloodline at Crown Jewel. Now, this came as a bit of shock for the WWE Universe, as the storyline is progressing quickly. This has many wondering, quite simply - why?

The Bloodline saga has been one of the most highly anticipated storylines of the year. Roman Reigns' struggle with Solo Sikoa for the Ula Fala has been watched closely by fans and superstars alike. So, for this match to be booked just days before Crown Jewel has raised some eyebrows.

That being said, on paper, it actually makes perfect sense. Now is the right time to have Roman Reigns and The Usos take on The Bloodline. So, to answer the previous question, here are three reasons why.

#3. WWE will want to give momentum to Solo Sikoa's Bloodline

It's safe to say that Roman Reigns' journey to take back the Ula Fala has just begun. So far, especially in major PLEs, he has got the better of Solo Sikoa. The first time was when he returned at SummerSlam, and the second was at Bad Blood, where he teamed up with Cody Rhodes. Suffice it to say, that Solo's Bloodline needs a win.

Now, assuming WWE plans to have an original Bloodline versus new Bloodline match at Survivor Series: WarGames, having the latter win at Crown Jewel makes perfect sense. By giving them the win in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, it would give them momentum heading into WarGames, and that can only be good for the storyline.

#2. WWE wants to get more of their North American viewers to tune in

Crown Jewel is a recurring PLE, that has called the Middle Eastern country its home for around six years now. The issue, though, with PLEs outside of the United States is the timings, and Crown Jewel has a start time of 1 PM ET. This could deter a number of WWE's North American viewers.

There is a chance, that Triple H and Co. have added this match to counteract that predicament. While the card is already stacked, throwing Roman Reigns, The Usos, and The Bloodline into the mix makes it that much more enticing. Fans will want to tune in simply because of the star power in play, and considering this storyline has much larger implications compared to the rest of the matches on the card.

#1. It is the perfect opportunity for Roman Reigns to prove he has changed

So far, the WWE Universe is enjoying this new jovial and positive attitude from Roman Reigns. After years of being the big bad heel, fans are happy to embrace The Original Tribal Chief. However, not everyone is buying that, especially certain WWE Superstars.

The likes of Jey Uso and Sami Zayn have already expressed their skepticism. Although Jey is teaming up with Roman, they still need to squash their beef, and Sami has no trust in him whatsoever. Well, Crown Jewel could be where all that changes. Seeing Roman fight for his family and protect them could lead to The Original Bloodline reunion we have all been dreaming about.

At the end of the day, this is nothing more than speculation. There really is no telling why WWE pulled the trigger on this match so soon.
