3 Roman Reigns dream matches we would have loved to see
WWE has made it a point to turn Roman Reigns into one of the biggest superstars of all time. Roman Reigns has done it all!
He dominated the WWE tag team picture for two years with his Shield cohorts, before entering the man event scene and going on to headline WrestleMania on four consecutive occasions.
Roman Reigns has defeated The Undertaker at WrestleMania, a feat that has been accomplished only by two wrestlers, the other one being Brock Lesnar. It's interesting to wonder how Roman would have fared against the legends of the past. Let's take a look at three dream matches involving The Big Dog, that would have made the WWE Universe go crazy.
#3 Roman Reigns vs Andre the Giant
Roman Reigns has had a long drawn out program against the biggest superstar of this era, The Big Show. It ended with Reigns coming out on top, and that led to fans wondering: what would have happened if Reigns faced the biggest superstar in the history of professional wrestling, Andre the Giant?
Andre, also touted by the fans as "The 8th Wonder of the World", was a larger than life superstar, who toured all around the world, wowing fans with his sheer size and wrestling ability. His match against Hogan at WrestleMania 3 has become the stuff of legends.
Pitting Andre against Roman would have resulted in one of the biggest "David vs Goliath" match in history.
#2 Roman Reigns vs Stone Cold Steve Austin
Austin is credited for single-handedly saving the WWE from a potential buyout by the WCW during The Attitude Era. Without his presence, wrestling as a whole would have been a lot different today.
The Rattlesnake had his final match against Roman's cousin, The Rock, at WrestleMania 19. With the incredible series of matches he had with The Brahma Bull, it would have been quite interesting to see Austin face off against the biggest superstar of this era.
Although Austin would have killed Reigns in the promo department, the actual wrestling match would have been a sight to behold. Unfortunately, thanks to Austin's severe neck injury, this match will remain a "What if?" scenario forever.
