3 Shockers WWE could be planning this Summer
The Money in the Bank pay-per-view is scheduled to take place this Sunday, the hype for the event is really high; the venue is the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut.
WWE has got all the storylines set for the event. Money in the Bank changes careers for the better, as we have seen over the years. But what happens after MITB - that still remains a mystery. Superstars like AJ Styles, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Rey Mysterio, and other highly-rated wrestlers will look to continue their story arcs and pick up waves of momentum to carry forward. The same can be said for NXT stand-outs.
Furthermore, AEW is about to make its debut and it could take the wrestling business to whole different level. Hence, Mr. McMahon will endeavor to improve the quality of wrestling matches and storylines. WWE might offer some unexpected shocks this Summer. Here are a few directions the company might take -
#3. Brock Lesnar reclaims the Universal Championship
As we all know, the highly-anticipated bout between Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar did not disappoint. The Beast lost the title at The Grandest Stage Of Them All, but he will be looking to seek vengeance. SummerSlam would be a good time to have a rematch between the two.
The Architect, Seth Rollins, defeated Lesnar to claim the Universal Championship to start off WrestleMania 35. It was an entertaining match, and had some frenzied action. Nobody thought a star like Brock Lesnar would open the show, which provided an element of surprise as well. To top it all off, and to give the audience the pay-off to this arc, Rollins slew The Beast in what was a memorable WrestleMania moment.
However, Brock Lesnar is not done with the WWE, and will likely get a rematch for the Universal Championship in the near future, especially since Rollins used the low blow to win. WWE likes to give the fans some shocks and nothing would be more shocking than having Lesnar reclaim the title.
