3 SmackDown superstars who deserved to be the #1 contender of SmackDown Women's title more than Alexa Bliss

In a shocking turn of events, WWE crowned RAW superstar Alexa Bliss as the new #1 contender of the SmackDown Women's Championship on the previous episode of SmackDown Live. This decision would have disappointed multiple female superstars of the blue brand, because a RAW superstar will now battle the champion Bayley for the title at WWE Stomping Grounds.
The Wild Card rule is receiving mixed reactions from the WWE Universe because of the way WWE is using it. On one side, they used the Wild Card rule to build Kofi Kingston as an even bigger star than he was while, on the other they have tested the patience of the fans with segments between Shane McMahon and Roman Reigns.

But, lately the writers have started to concentrate the focus on a bunch of few superstars which has left the other superstars on the sidelines. In this article, we will have a look at the 3 female superstars who deserved to be the new #1 contender of the SmackDown Women's Championship more than Alexa Bliss.
#3 Liv Morgan
The former member of the Riott Squad, Liv Morgan, had been separated from her partners in the Superstar Shakeup. This move signaled the fans that Morgan will receive a huge singles push on SmackDown, but she is yet to make her debut on the blue brand.
I know it would have been wrong if someone like Liv Morgan was picked up from nowhere to become the #1 contender for the Championship, but given that only 2 SmackDown episodes will take place before WWE Stomping Grounds, it would have been great had someone like Morgan got some exposure to the singles division.
She definitely would not win the title from Bayley but you know a title shot would have given her some spotlight.
Remember how Lana received a title shot all of a sudden at Money In The Bank 2017 and then she became a part of the mid-card? WWE could have booked Liv Morgan in the same way and then sent her to mid-card where she would develop.
