3 Streaks that could be broken at WWE Royal Rumble 2019
All good things must come to an end. Similarly, every streak has its end. The Undertaker's WrestleMania win streak was no exception, neither was Asuka's or Goldberg's undefeated streak. WWE often does a brilliant job at protecting streaks.
When they decide to break it, it often gives the fans a moment to remember. No one can forget the reaction of the fan in the front row when Brock Lesnar defeated The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX.
Even though WWE is not advertising any streaks or records at the moment, it does not mean that there aren't any. Quite a few streaks are in the danger of being broken at this year's Royal Rumble PPV. In this article, we will be taking a look at a few streaks that could be potentially broken at the event.
#3 Finn Balor's undefeated PPV streak in singles matches
Finn Balor has lost a lot of matches in WWE. However, since getting promoted to the main roster, the former Bullet Club leader has never lost a singles match in a PPV. He had suffered losses in various multi-man matches during this time. For example, the 2018 Elimination Chamber match, fatal 5-way match at Extreme Rules 2017 etc.
He won the Universal Championship in his PPV debut against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam 2016. He won his match against Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam and No Mercy, AJ Styles at TLC all in 2017 and Baron Corbin at Extreme Rules and SummerSlam in 2018.
And last, but not the least, Balor conquered Drew McIntyre - with a little help from Dolph Ziggler. However, since Brock Lesnar is heavily favoured to retain the Universal Championship, this streak may come to an abrupt end at Royal Rumble.
