3 Superstars who can replace Braun Strowman at TLC 2018
Tables, Ladders, and Chair 2018 are less than three weeks away, and there are a few great matches lined up for the event. One of the biggest matches announced for the event is scheduled between Baron Corbin and Braun Strowman.
Baron Corbin did well the same night to take out the big man with the help of the two biggest heels on RAW Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre who laid waste to the big man and severely injured his elbow in the process. This allowed Strowman to go away for some time to get a surgery for a legitimate elbow injury and could see him off television for some time.
Even though Baron Corbin confirmed that the match will have to go through, it seems unlikely that the big man will be able to recover on time and get in the ring with Corbin, unless it’s just for a squash match.
Keeping that in mind, we have come up with three names who could replace Braun Strowman at TLC 2018, and make an impact which could send Baron Corbin packing from his duties.
#3 Bray Wyatt
One of the more obvious choices for Barun’s replacement is none other than The Eater of Worlds Bray Wyatt.
Bray Wyatt had been away from active competition since Matt Hardy took a break from wrestling and the duo who were working as a tag team decided to put a brake on proceedings.
After a four-month hiatus, Bray returned to active competition on November 25, 2018, at WWE Starrcade to accept Baron Corbin’s open challenge and defeat him convincingly. This was probably WWE testing out the superstar as Braun’s replacement already knowing that the big man might not be able to compete with his injury.
The match between Corbin and Wyatt did not air on the WWE Network, which could be a ploy by WWE to keep the match under wraps and only use the two superstars in the ring again in case Braun cannot work the match at TLC.
