3 Things that shouldn't happen on RAW and SmackDown Live this week
With just two weeks left before Hell in a Cell, both RAW and SmackDown are building up various feuds for the upcoming pay-per-view. After a great show at Clash of Champions, the company has hinted at several new feuds and also continued some old rivalries.
RAW delivered an action packed show with multiple appearances from Bray Wyatt. The Fiend terrorized again, ambushing the 'Devil's Favorite Demon', Kane. The King of the Ring winner was also finally crowned, as Baron Corbin bested Chad Gable for the throne.
SmackDown Live certainly hyped its debut on FOX, as Brock Lesnar made an appearance and challenged Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship. The show is establishing momentum before making its FOX debut on October 4th.
With all the great things WWE has done lately, it's important that they avoid making some key mistakes in the weeks ahead.
Join us as we discuss three things WWE should not do on RAW and SmackDown Live this week.
#3 Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan shouldn't get dominated again
Last week, Roman Reigns had a hard time, which is definitely an unusual sight for 'The Big Dog.' Reigns lost a highly anticipated match against Erick Rowan at Clash of Champions and was also decimated by The Bludgeon Brothers on SmackDown Live. Daniel Bryan, who has played an indispensable role in this storyline, was also assaulted by Luke Harper and Erick Rowan.
There is no doubt that the return of Luke Harper has taken the feud to the next level. In fact, he was the main reason why Erick Rowan managed to pin Reigns at Clash of Champions.
Given the recent alliance between Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan, they are expected to face The Bludgeon Brothers. Reigns and Bryan, however need to gain momentum, especially considering Hell in a Cell is not far away. If WWE wants to hype the rivalry, Reigns and Bryan need to stand tall this week, avoid yet another assault, and assert themselves as a dominant duo capable of competing against Harper and Rowan.
