3 things WWE got right at Money in the Bank 2019 and 2 things they got wrong
WWE Money in the Bank 2019 is officially in the history books, and what a show it was!
The tenth iteration of the pay per view, the show was highlighted by the two titular ladder matches, which saw 16 Superstars, eight women and eight men compete for a guaranteed title match at a time of their choosing.
Along the way, the WWE Universe saw exciting action, death-defying stunts not only in the two ladder matches but throughout the entire show.
But not everything went according to plan last night, and for as good as Money in the Bank was, the company did have some shortfalls along the way.
Here are three things WWE got right at this year's Money in the Bank pay per view, as well as two things that could have been a whole lot better.
#3 Got it right: Miz and Shane delivers inside a Steel Cage
In the now infamous 2016 Talking Smack promo, The Miz was criticised by Daniel Bryan for being 'too safe', and not pushing himself enough.
Well, last night the A-Lister worked his backside off inside a Steel Cage against nemesis Shane McMahon, and it showed.
It seems baffling that someone who was once WWE's ultimate despicable heel for so long, is now using his acting chops to be adored by the crowd.
I have to also give props to Shane McMahon, as the 49-year-old Best in the World proved that he is still capable of delivering a great match.
Despite Miz coming up short against his former tag team partner, I'm expecting big things for the Reality Show star over the summer.
