With the McMahon family once again running the show, the first family of wrestling has been hoping to provide more exciting content, after a slump in 2018.

As we barrel forwards toward the Royal Rumble pay per view, every Superstar of the Red brand is hoping to build momentum for the Rumble matches, which if they win, will guarantee them a championship match this April, at WrestleMania 35.

But before WrestleMania, the men and women of Monday Night RAW needed to make it through last night's show, which had plenty of positives about the show, as well as a couple of negatives.

Here are three things WWE got right on the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, as well as two things they got wrong.

#3 Got it right: Lashley finally claims gold

The return of Bobby Lashley last year has been nothing short of dominant, with the former ECW Champion being a main player on RAW as either a heel or a face.

But as his 2018 return moved forwards, fans couldn't help but notice that Lashley, for all his success, wasn't winning any championships.

This all changed this week on RAW, wherein an exciting triple threat match, Lashley captured the Intercontinental Championship for the first time in his career, dethroning Dean Ambrose in a match that also featured Seth Rollins.

Joining a lineage that includes Pat Patterson, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, The Rock, Edge and others, the Destroyer surely has the momentum as he enters the 30-man Rumble match in less than two weeks.
