3 things WWE got right on this week's RAW and 2 things they got wrong (April 8th, 2019)

Another edition of Monday Night RAW is in the books as the WWE Universe continues to reel from one of the most explosives WrestleManias of all time.

At the Showcase of the Immortals, The Man Becky Lynch claimed her spot as top of the Women's division, whilst Seth Rollins lived up to his Beastslayer moniker, capturing the Universal title from Brock Lesnar.

Last night continued on the trend of shocks and surprises, including a shocking title for title match that descended into chaos, as well as a huge return.

But not everything was plain sailing on the show, and there were plenty of pitfalls along the way.

Here are three things that WWE got absolutely spot on with this week's huge episode of Monday Night RAW, as well as two things that they could have improved on.

#3 Got it right: Sami Zayn's return

Zayn's match with Finn Balor was great, though his post-match promo was phenomenal

Sami Zayn's sudden departure from WWE in late 2018 was a huge loss for RAW.

Being taken out due to injury, the former NXT Champion has always been one of the most talented stars around, able to work as both a heel and a face.

Returning tonight, it seemed the Canadian was returning to his face roots, playing to the crowd that clearly missed him, until he revealed he didn't miss them, or wrestling, at all.

In an incredible, scathing promo, Zayn lambasted the "toxic work environment" but really hit out at the fans.

Claiming that fans only get joy out of being critics (tugs collar nervously!) Zayn made some really good points on the mic, blurring the lines of kayfabe and reality.

An impressive promo by one of RAW's best, it'll be interesting to see where Sami, WWE, and the fans go from here.
