3-time champion to turn heel and waste Tiffany Stratton's cash in? Exploring potential surprise at SummerSlam
Tiffany Stratton is Ms. Money in the Bank, and now all that's left is for her to cash in. She does have a number of championships to choose from. She could either go after Roxanne Perez in NXT, Liv Morgan on Raw, or the prevailing favorite, Bayley on SmackDown. But, if she goes after The Role Model, she could be in for a rude awakening as a three-time champion could turn heel and waste her cash-in.
The three-time champion in question is none other than Bayley's good friend, Naomi. However, in this scenario, she could end up aligning herself with Tiffany Stratton's friend, Nia Jax. As Queen of the Ring, Jax is scheduled to take on Bayley at SummerSlam for the WWE Women's Championship, and it is at The Biggest Party of the Summer where this could all go down.
If last week's episode of SmackDown is anything to go by, it's clear that Tiffany Stratton is more than ready to betray Nia Jax and cash in for the WWE Women's Championship. Now, come SummerSlam, this cash-in could be on either Bayley or Jax herself. To avoid this situation, Jax could enlist the support of Naomi. The Irresistible Force could coax Naomi to her side by reminding her that they're family, and by also allowing her to get one over Stratton, who has had her number ever since she made her WWE return.
Of course, Jax's main motivation for this would be to prevent herself from being humiliated. She wouldn't want another superstar to cash in on her again. But, at this point, this is no more than speculation, and there is no telling what the future holds.
Nia Jax seems confident that Tiffany Stratton is still on her side
Many believe that Nia Jax needs to start planning for a Tiffany Stratton betrayal. Last week on SmackDown, even Jax was surprised to see Stratton consider cashing in on Bayley. This act led many to question The Buff Barbie's loyalties and whether Bayley would have the upper hand heading into SummerSlam. However, the Irresistible Force has put those doubts to rest.
Following last week's episode, Jax put a story on Instagram reminding everyone that Stratton is still "her girl". She shared a couple of pictures from Stratton's cash-in tease, before ending the story with one final image of the 25-year-old helping her out against The Role Model. Clearly, she remains confident in Stratton, despite all that went down.
She may be trusting Stratton now, but anything can happen in the weeks to come as we head toward SummerSlam. One thing is for sure, Jax would do well to keep an eye out because Tiffy Time could strike at any moment.
