3-time champions to attack Motor City Machine Guns on WWE SmackDown tonight? Exploring the possibility
The Motor City Machine Guns have had what many would consider to be the greatest start to a WWE career. Not only are they undefeated, but a month into their debut, they are already WWE Tag Team Champions. Things are going swimmingly for them right now. However, all that could change tonight on SmackDown, where they could be attacked by a pair of three-time champions.
Now, considering they're scheduled for an appearance on the Grayson Waller Effect, one would assume they would be attacked by A-Town Down Under. In this scenario though, that is impossible, considering the duo of Waller and Austin Theory have only one championship reign to their name. So, the question is, who could it be? Well, considering recent developments there is a chance they will be attacked by the three-time tag team champions, the Street Profits.
Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins have had a semi-successful WWE career thus far. They have one RAW Tag Team Championship, one SmackDown Tag Team Championship, and one NXT Tag Team Championship to their names. However, they have been starved of success of late, and this has led to Ford publically sharing his frustrations. This has many believing that a heel turn is around the corner for the Street Profits, so why not tonight, where they could attack the Motor City Machine Guns?
It certainly would be a shocking twist if the perpetually babyface Profits suddenly turned heel and attacked the Motor City Machine Guns. But, as things stand, this is just speculation, and we will have to wait and see what goes down tonight.
Grayson Waller took a dig at the Motor City Machine Guns on X
Whether or not the Street Profits will target the Motor City Machine Guns remains to be seen. But, one team that will definitely be dealing with them, as mentioned earlier, is A-Town Down Under. Grayson Waller and Austin Theory will play host to Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin tonight on the Grayson Waller Effect, and things are likely to get heated.
In patented Waller fashion, The Aussie Icon insulted his guests hours before the segment. Taking to X, Waller hyped up the upcoming episode of the Grayson Waller Effect, claiming Shelley and Saban's appearance on his show will be the "pinnacle" of their careers. He also did not forget to mock them, as he ridiculed the fact that it took them 20+ years to finally reach WWE.
Safe to say there will be fireworks tonight on the blue brand. Hopefully, for their sake, inviting the Machine Guns isn't something Waller and Theory will live to regret.
